New Hope

Elder Robert Blackwell is Pastor of New Hope Church of God In Christ, Maysville, NC. He is an Ordained Elder in the Church of God In Christ Inc. Headquartered Memphis, TN.

He serves as the 1st Administrative Assistant to Supt. J.H. Sherman, Jr. of the Empowerment District of the Church of God In Christ North Carolina 2nd Jurisdiction.

He is a graduate of North Carolina A & T State University with a B.S. Social Sciences (1978) an M.S. Social Sciences (1981) an M.S. Education Administration  (1983) He also earned six graduate credits in economics from Oglethorpe University, Atlanta, Georgia.

Pastor Blackwell is employed by the North Carolina Association of Educators and has certification in Social Studies, and  School Administration.
