Our First Lady
The time has come when God has commanded me to lift up a standard before His people to be holy, presentable and accept the calling for His purpose. This is not a calling I accept likely and is not an appointment I take advantage of for my benefit because I am held accountable for all I do. Therefore, I believe my calling is sure.
I realize that all children of god are called be witnesses in order that we might win some to Christ. I have been charged and challenged by God to go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in that God’s house may be filled. So, I send forth a message of encouragement, inspiration, motivation and assurance.
Evangelist Debara Jenkins-Blackwell is the First Lady of New Hope Church of God in Christ Maysville, North Carolina. She also serves as the District Missionary of the Empowerment District.
She is married to Pastor Robert T. Blackwell and is the mother of Robert Blackwell, III. Since 1996, she has served the children of Jones Senior High School in Trenton, North Carolina as a Family and Consumer Sciences and Early Childhood Education teacher.
She is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC.
